What it is
IntelSEO is a keyword and rank-tracking suite. It is built for people who already know what they want to measure — consultants, in-house marketers, and owners running their own SEO — and who would rather pay for the data they pull than rent a plan sized for someone else. Where the DecodeLocal instruments on this site measure one city once, IntelSEO is the always-on tool: your keywords, your competitors, tracked on your schedule.
Keyword research
Search volume, difficulty, and related terms for any market. You set how many results you want back; a bigger pull costs more, and you see the cost before you run it.
Rank tracking
Your positions for the keywords you choose, checked on a schedule, at the search depth you set. Weekly at depth 50 is cheap; daily at depth 100 costs more. The meter is the schedule.
Competitor insights
Domain overviews: what a competitor ranks for, where their traffic comes from, and which pages carry them. Useful before you write a word of copy.
Backlinks
Link profiles for you and for them: referring domains, new and lost links, authority signals. The raw material for any outreach plan.
Site audits
A technical crawl of your site: broken pages, slow pages, missing metadata, indexation problems. The list of things to fix, in the order worth fixing.
AI-visibility tracking
Whether AI assistants mention you, cite you, and what they actually say, for the prompts you track. Search is no longer only ten blue links; this measures the other surface.
Google Search Console integration
Your own verified search data alongside the provider data, so the numbers Google confirms and the numbers the suite measures sit in one place.
How pricing works
Every action in the suite is a paid call to the data provider, and the provider publishes what each call costs. IntelSEO passes that number straight through to you as credits, with one fixed markup. The whole system is four rules:
1,000 credits = $1.00 of provider cost
A keyword lookup that costs the provider $0.01 debits 10 credits. A bigger pull debits more. The conversion never changes.
You pay cost × 1.28
Credits are sold at $1.28 per 1,000. The 28% is the entire margin — it covers the app, the billing, and the support. There is no other fee and no subscription.
Credits never expire
Buy a pack, use it over a week or over two years. Nothing resets monthly and nothing evaporates.
You see the cost before you run it
Every action shows its credit cost — the raw provider cost — up front. If a pull looks expensive, you don't run it. The meter is never a surprise.
Worked examples
Rank tracking
Track 100 keywords, checked weekly, at depth 50.
Provider cost: ≈ $1.20 / month
That is 1,200 credits / month
$1.20 × 1.28 = $1.536
You pay ≈ $1.54 / month
Keyword research
Run 100 keyword-research requests at 150 results each.
Provider cost: $3.50
That is 3,500 credits
$3.50 × 1.28 = $4.48
You pay $4.48, once
The first figure in each example is the provider's own cost basis, before our markup. We show it because it's the number the credits track — and because you're entitled to check our math.
The ten usage buckets
Every credit you spend lands in exactly one of these buckets, so your statement shows not just how much you used but what kind of work it bought.
| Bucket | What it meters |
|---|---|
| keyword_research | Keyword lookups: volume, difficulty, suggestions, related terms. |
| domain_overview | Domain and competitor snapshots. |
| backlinks | Link profiles, referring domains, new and lost links. |
| site_audit | Technical crawls of your site. |
| rank_tracking | Scheduled position checks for your tracked keywords. |
| ai_citations | Whether AI assistants cite or mention you for the prompts you track. |
| ai_prompt_responses | The full AI answers captured for those prompts, so you can read what was said. |
| local_seo | Local pack and map results. |
| onboarding | The baseline pulls when a workspace is first set up. |
| agent | Data the built-in assistant pulls when it answers with live numbers. |
How access works
IntelSEO is currently in private access. There is no self-serve signup; every account starts with an invite request.
Request an invite
The form at the bottom of this page. An email address and, optionally, a line about what you'd use it for.
Get approved
Requests are reviewed by hand. If yours is approved, you get an invite at that email. If it isn't, you hear nothing — your address isn't kept for anything else.
Sign in and buy a credit pack
Approved accounts sign in with Google or a magic link, then buy credits. $1.28 buys 1,000.
Run what you need
Every action shows its credit cost before you run it. What the meter says is what the provider charged, times a fixed 28%.
Straight answers
What is DataForSEO?
The data provider the suite is built on. DataForSEO operates the crawl and SERP infrastructure; every keyword lookup, rank check, backlink pull, and audit is a paid call to their API, and they publish what each call costs. IntelSEO's credits track that raw cost exactly: 1,000 credits is $1.00 of provider cost. Nothing is estimated and nothing is rounded in our favor.
Why invite-only?
Two reasons. Data quality: every account shares the same provider pipeline, and abuse by one account degrades it for everyone. And abuse control: SEO data endpoints are a favorite target for scraping and resale, so accounts are approved by hand before they can spend anything. It keeps the data fast and the costs honest for the people actually using it.
Do credits expire?
No. A credit pack you buy today is still there in two years. There is no subscription, no monthly reset, and no use-it-or-lose-it clause.
Can I get a refund?
Credits you've spent are gone — the provider already charged for those calls. Credits you haven't spent can be refunded; reply to your invite email and ask.
Why show the raw provider cost at all?
Because SEO tools usually hide it behind seat pricing and bundles, which is how a $0.01 lookup ends up inside a $99 plan. Here the markup is fixed and stated — 28% — so you can judge every action against what it actually costs to run.
Request an invite
Leave your email and, if you like, a line about what you'd use it for. Requests are reviewed by hand; approved accounts get an invite and sign in with Google or a magic link.
